Showtime at the museum! We're thrilled about our upcoming show at the stunning Peabody Essex Museum in historical Salem, MA. It's an early show, and we'll be playing a 70 minute set from the quieter side of our catalog. Images from their Jerry Uelsmann exhibit will be projected while we play, if you haven't seen his work you won't believe your eyes. It's happening Thursday, June 21st at 8pm sharp!

NEW STUFF!!! So here's the deal...we've got a new 7" coming out on Noise Appeal Records (Austria) as well as a new six song digital EP! The 7" features remixes of two songs from Brittle Divinity. Those who buy the 7" will get a free download card of the EP, which includes the songs from the 7". The EP also features an additional remix as well as three covers...so three remixes and three covers. If you don't want the 7" but want the EP, it will also be available for purchase. It's show time! We're super stoked to be playing the Clouds reunion/record release show on June 4 at Great Scott! If that wasn't awesome enough, Disappearer (we love them!) and Lunglust will be rounding out the bill. Woohoo!!

Our new record "Brittle Divinity" is finally officially out! The digital download version is available now, you can find it at CD Baby, as well as at iTunes, etc. The CD version should be available in the next 24 hours or so at CD Baby, we'll post a link as soon as it's up. It will also be available at select Newbury Comics locations.

we're excited to announce that our brand new record "Brittle Divinity" will be officially released on CD and via digital download on wed. oct. 27! a deluxe vinyl version will be released in the spring of 2011. "Brittle Divinity" has 12 songs, was recorded with andy hong in cambridge MA, mixed at the red room in seattle WA with matt bayles, and mastered at the lodge in new york NY by emily lazar and joe laporta. stunning cover art by dan mccarthy. we posted a preview of the record, a song titled "Tangled In Your Spokes", on our new official facebook page.

ok! we're finally emerging and will have music/news/etc in the coming weeks. our new record is finally really done, we're working on the art and packaging...more on that soon. in the meantime, we have another new release: a compilation of our singles & rarities which includes the first song we ever recorded (previously unreleased). the comp is titled "Louder Than Words: singles, b-sides and rarities", available for digital download only. you can download it from cdbaby. we've posted a track from it on our new official facebook page.

so...we've had a slight technical issue delaying the final mastering of our new (as yet untitled) record, but hopefully we'll have it resolved in the next few weeks. in the meantime we've posted a couple of songs on our myspace page: "night" was the b-side of the "try" single (hydra head) and was a bonus track on the european, japanese and australian versions of "let the light in", and "collide escape" is an instrumental out-take from the new record that we felt doesn't really fit with the rest of the record. happy spring!!
